A Parting Resolve
A Parting Resolve is an Object in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Location and Uses
A Parting Resolve is the 13th and final Ancient Tablet. It is located on a Small Island within the Sokkala Sky Archipelago. Should Link attempt to read the Tablet, he will be unable to discern its contents.[2] As part of the "Messages from an Ancient Era" Side Adventure, Link can take a Picture of the Ancient Tablet to show to Wortsworth, who can then create a translation.[3]
This Ancient Tablet describes the chamberlain's dedication to the Royal Family of Hyrule, despite those she served being gone.[4] Wortsworth notices, however, that it is unclear what happened to them, and he hopes for that his continued research will lead him to such answers.[5] To reward Link for bringing him a Picture of the Ancient Tablet, Wortsworth will give him a Silver Rupee.[6] Once Wortsworth has translated all of the Ancient Tablets, he will post a copy of his translation of A Parting Resolve on the Zonai Survey Team Base's wall.[7]

It's etched with ancient Hyrulean text. You cannot read it.

It's become clear that there are 13 stone tablets documenting the age of legends. By deciphering all of them, one could learn about the lives of the royal family of that era, which was not documented in any history book. Capture the stone tablets in pictures, and show them to Wortsworth in Kakariko Village. You still need to capture 12 stone tablets.

It seems this is the last of the records. The royals whom the chamberlain served so faithfully were gone, one by one... It's heartrending to read. Her pain comes across so clearly in her words.

What's less clear from these entries is the cause of all these partings... Well, each new mystery is an opportunity to do more research. If I keep digging, someday I'll unravel it.

Thank you, Link. And I haven't forgotten about your reward.

Everything you gave me is posted to the research-lab wall. By all means, come and look at it whenever you like. I gained some precious understanding from my analysis of the text discovered this time.
