"An Unlikely Passion" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

"An Unlikely Passion" is a Quest for Master Kohga that appears after completing "The Master Kohga Chronicles!" Challenge. In this Quest, a Yiga Footsoldier has a passion for Ancient Technology that is distracting him from his duties, so Master Kohga decides to give him an ancient artifact. The Footsoldier, happy with the gift, then decides to give the piece of technology to the Royal Ancient Lab so that he can return to his duties. As a result, Master Kohga also gains two extra Hearts.

Finishing "An Unlikely Passion" is required for the completion of the Quests "The Hope of Gerudo" and "The Hope of All Hyrule."

Objectives

Stage	Description
Start	A Yiga footsoldier dreams of studying ancient tech, but it's distracting him from his duties. Master Kohga figures he might as well give him an oldfangled doodad so he gets it over with...
Complete	The Yiga Clan member received Master Kohga's gift with a mixture of joy and utter amazement. In the end, to focus on his Yiga duties, he decided to give his item to the Ancient Tech Lab.
