Aryll's Lookout
Aryll's Lookout,(TWWThe Wind Waker | TWWHDThe Wind Waker HD)[1] also called the Watchtower,(TWWThe Wind Waker | TWWHDThe Wind Waker HD)[2] is a location in The Wind Waker.
Features and Overview
Aryll's Lookout is a tall, stationary crow's nest on the eastern Dock of Outset Island, that was most likely built to spot oncoming ships.[citation needed] Because of Outset's distant location from many other inhabited Islands, however, it is mainly used by Aryll, Link's little sister, to play with the Seagulls.[1] She often uses her Telescope from the Lookout to watch over the Island.
Link's adventure in The Wind Waker begins with him asleep at the top of Aryll's Lookout, where he is awoken by Aryll and informed that it is his birthday. After speaking to his Grandma and donning the customary Hero's Clothes, Link returns to the Lookout and is given a birthday present from Aryll; she lets him borrow her Telescope for the day. It is while trying out the Telescope that he spots the Helmaroc King flying near Outset Island with Tetra in its grasp. The large bird is assailed with Cannonballs by Tetra's Pirate Crew, causing it to drop Tetra into the Island's Forest of Fairies. Aryll then urges him to help her.
