Characteristics

Descriptionshide ▲
Beakon
Persistent and loud, this monster follows its prey and calls for nearby allies to attack on its behalf.

Beakons are Bird-like Monsters that inhabit the Faron Wetlands and the Stilled Faron Wetlands. While not in combat, they can be found soaring in circles above the ground, or in the case of the Beakon in the Faron Wetlands, perched on a Tree. They do not attack directly, but will squawk loudly when they spot Princess Zelda, attracting nearby Enemies to attack her. When summoned as an Echo, they have an Echo cost of three. Beakon Echoes can be picked up by Zelda, who can then use them to Glide off ledges. Beakons can Glide with Zelda for five seconds before they fall.
