The BlackMilk x The Legend of Zelda Collection is a merchandise collection released by BlackMilk.[1]

Overview

The BlackMilk x The Legend of Zelda Collection is a set of clothing based on The Legend of Zelda series released by BlackMilk in collaboration with Nintendo. The collection has been released twice, each featuring a different set of merchandise.

The original collection was released on October 12, 2021 in Australia and October 11, 2021 in the United States and United Kingdom.[2][3] It features designs based on Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild.[2] At the 2022 Licensing International Excellence Awards, the collection won the award for "Best Licensed Product: Apparel/Accessory for an Entertainment Property".[4]

The second collection was announced on April 28, 2024.[5] It was officially released on May 7, 2024 in Australia and May 6, 2024 in the United States and United Kingdom.[6] Prior to its announcement, BlackMilk posted a word search encouraging viewers to guess what their next collection would be, which featured several key words relating to The Legend of Zelda.[7][8] The designs featured in the set are based on Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.[9] BlackMilk gave away a $500 AUD voucher in celebration of the collection's launch.[10] From May 13, 2024 to July 9, 2024, Nintendo of America hosted the My Nintendo BlackMilk x The Legend of Zelda Sweepstakes in honor of the one-year anniversary of the release of Tears of the Kingdom.[11]
