Black Octoroks are Enemies in Cadence of Hyrule.[1]
Characteristics
Black Octoroks are the strongest Octorok variety, possessing the highest health and attack power of the Octoroks. There are two varieties of Black Octorok, one living on land and one in shallow water. They remain hidden underground or underwater until the current hero walks in front of them. Once detected, they emerge from their hiding spot and move to the beat of the music, staying exposed for a total of four beats. After emerging, they fire a rock-like projectile on the second beat and remain exposed for two more beats before returning underground.
While hidden underground and underwater, they can identified by the red grass-like stem on their head sticking out of their hiding spot.
