Boldon
Boldon is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Boldon is a Goron traveler who carries a Traveling Pack. He can be found walking along Ternio Trail, stopping at Foothill Stable along the way.
Boldon is the ambassador of tourism for Goron City, and while he recommends that everyone visit it, he also admits that it has its share of problems.[4] Boldon adds that because of the Divine Beast Vah Rudania, the Goron Hot Springs have seen fewer tourists lately.[5] He also tells Link that if he plans on visiting Goron City or other Scorching Climates, he should wear Fireproof Armor or make a Fireproof Elixir.[6][7]
In the Lanayru Region, Boldon notes that there is a noticeable difference to the east and west of their location, which is why places like Woodland Stable are too cold for Gorons.[8] He also comments about the ruined Hyrule Castle, saying that the treasure hunters who plunder it are crazy.[9]
If an Enemy attacks him, Boldon assumes a defensive position and tells the threat to come and get him.[10] After being saved, Boldon says that if they put their together their heads as well as their muscles, the two can "stomp 'em flat."[11] He will then reward Link with Food or Rupees.[12]

We've had fewer visitors to the Goron Hot Springs recently, and it's all thanks to that sweltering, ugly thing!

If you can't wrangle any fire-resistant clothes, you can get by with some fireproof elixirs. You can make one by cooking a fireproof lizard with a... with a, um... Oh, boy...with something else.

There's a noticeable difference in the heat to the east and west of this dividing line. If you go as far as the Woodland Stable, it's just too chilly for us Gorons!

These days, Hyrule Castle is just a creepy old ruin. The treasure hunters who sneak in there must be crazy!
