Bookcase
Bookcases,(TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1] also known as Bookshelves,(BotWBreath of the Wild)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[name references needed] Bookcases go unnamed in The Minish Cap and Cadence of Hyrule.
Location and Uses
The Minish Cap
There are numerous Bookcases in buildings throughout Hyrule in The Minish Cap, particularly Houses in Hyrule Town.
Several Bookcases can be found on both floors of the Royal Hyrule Library, one of which is home to Librari, Jotari, and another Library Minish. This Bookcase can only be fully scaled while Link is Minish-sized and after he has returned all three overdue Library Books.
Skyward Sword
Breath of the Wild
Bookshelves can be found in the Hyrule Castle Library and obscure hidden passageways. As the Bookshelves are metallic, they can be moved with Magnesis. A Bookshelf on the eastern side of the Library covers a passage to the Docks, while one on the western side blocks a flight of stairs that lead to a small excavation site.[3] A northern Bookshelf also guards the entrance to the King's Study.
Tears of the Kingdom
Echoes of Wisdom
Bookcases are set to reappear in Echoes of Wisdom.
Other Appearances
Cadence of Hyrule
Bookcases appear in Houses throughout Hyrule. The Bookcases in Deku Village and Kakariko Village bear small plants on top of them, but the Bookcases in the Houses of the Fates do not.
