Bright-Eyed Crabs are recurring Creatures and Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Description
This crab appears in large numbers when it rains. One bite of its delectable meat, and you'll forget all your exhaustion. Replenishes your stamina when cooked into a dish.

Bright-Eyed Crabs can be found on freshwater shores in the Lanayru Great Spring and Eldin Canyon. Many of them live in the area surrounding Ne'ez Yohma Shrine in Zora's Domain. They are also sold by the traveling Merchants Chumin and Bugut.

Eating a Bright-Eyed Crab raw will restore one of Link's Hearts. They can also be roasted by a Fire to make Blackened Crab or chilled by Ice to make Frozen Crab. Cooking one in a Cooking Pot will result in a meal with Stamina-restoring effects.[1]
