Broom are recurring Items and Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name references needed] Brooms go unnamed in A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, A Link Between Worlds, and Breath of the Wild.

Location and Uses

A Link to the Past

The Sweeping Lady is seen using a Broom in front of her house in A Link to the Past. In the Game Boy Advance version of A Link to the Past, the Apprentice can be seen holding a Broom.

Link's Awakening

The Broom is the tenth item in the Trading Quest in Link's Awakening. It is received from Mr. Write as thanks for delivering him Christine's Goat's Letter.[1] The Broom can then be given to Grandma Yahoo in Mabe Village to replace the old Broom she wore down from overuse.[2][3] In exchange, she gives Link the Fishing Hook she found while sweeping near the river bank.[4]

Ocarina of Time

Kotake and Koume are seen flying on Brooms in Ocarina of Time.

Majora's Mask

Kotake and Koume are seen flying on Brooms in Majora's Mask.

Oracle of Seasons

Kotake, Koume, and Maple are seen flying on Brooms in Oracle of Seasons.

Oracle of Ages

Kotake, Koume, and Maple are seen flying on Brooms in Oracle of Ages.

A Link Between Worlds

Main article: Broomie

In A Link Between Worlds, Irene is seen flying on Broomie, her magical Broom. Link can call Irene by ringing the Bell. He can then hang on to Broomie to be transported to any activated Weather Vane, as part of the Irene's Taxi service.

Breath of the Wild

Ivee can be seen sweeping with a Broom outside of the East Wind shop in Hateno Village in Breath of the Wild.
