The Business Scrub Association is a trade-regulating organization of merchant Business Scrubs in Majora's Mask.[1]
Members
There is one member of the organization in each of the five regions of Termina. The Business Scrubs in Southern Swamp, Goron Village, and Zora Hall sell their wares only to the native population (i.e. Deku Link, Goron Link, and Zora Link, respectively) as per a regulation of the association.[1][2][note 1] They work the exclusivity into their sales pitch.[3][4][5]
The Scrub who owns the yellow Deku Flower in South Clock Town has already sold out his wares ahead of the Carnival of Time.[6] He will buy a Moon's Tear in exchange for the Town Title Deed, which starts the Trading Quest. The Trading Quest consists of exchanging one Title Deed for another with each of the other four Business Scrubs, fulfilling their dreams of moving to different regions.[7]
- The Scrub in Southern Swamp outside the Swamp Tourist Center wants the Town Title Deed so it can move to Clock Town.[citation needed]
- The Scrub in Goron Village wants the Swamp Title Deed so it can move back home to the swamp.[citation needed]
- The Scrub in Zora Hall in Lulu's room wants the Mountain Title Deed so it can move to the mountains, where the climate is cooler and the air is cleaner.[citation needed]
- The Scrub in Ikana Canyon wants the Ocean Title Deed so it can do business by the sea. It is also eager to see the Gerudo renowned for their beauty.[citation needed]
When a Business Scrub vacates their Deku Flower, Link can use it to reach a Piece of Heart (one for each flower).
After moving, each Business Scrub is in some way disappointed by its new surroundings.[8][9] The one who moves to the mountains is especially unhappy with the cold climate.[10] However, the Scrub that moves from the mountains to the swamp is unreservedly happy to be home.[11]

- ↑ The Business Scrub initially located in Clock Town has already sold out his wares,[6] and will only sell the Piece of Heart while in his "storage unit", a Secret Grotto in Termina Field near the Astral Observatory. For the Business Scrub to appear there, Link must trade him the Moon's Tear then witness him entering the Secret Grotto by looking through the telescope in the Astral Observatory.
- ↑ If Link refuses to buy the Piece of Heart at 100 Rupees, the Business Scrub leaves the Secret Grotto and the opportunity to buy the Piece of Heart is lost until Link plays the Song of Time and starts the sequence from the beginning.[14] The Business Scrub also leaves if Link agrees to buy the Piece of Heart (at either price) but cannot afford it.[15] If Link has already bought the Piece of Heart on a previous three-day cycle, the Business Scrub leaves the Secret Grotto as soon as Link speaks to it.
- ↑ Special trade-in offer. If Link does not have the Big Bomb Bag, the Business Scrub insists on selling the Biggest Bomb Bag for 1,000 Rupees.[17] Link cannot buy it at that price as the largest Wallet can only hold up to 500 Rupees.
