The Complimentary ID,(TWW)[3] also known as the Compliment Card,(PH)[3] is a recurring item in The Legend of Zelda series.
Location and Uses
The Wind Waker
Beedle will send the Complimentary ID attached to a Letter to any Postbox once Link has accumulated 30 points on his membership card for Beedle's Shop Ship.[1] The Complimentary ID can be given to Beedle in exchange for a verbal compliment which fills Link's Life Energy.[3]
Phantom Hourglass
Once Link has accumulated 50 points on his membership card for Beedle's Shop Ship, Beedle will send him the Compliment Card attached with a Letter.[2] It can be given to Beedle in exchange for a verbal compliment.[4]
Trivia
- In Phantom Hourglass, the names of the Complimentary ID and the Complimentary Card are erroneously swapped in the Collection Screen menu and in Beedle's dialog.
Nomenclature
The Japanese name オホメ券 (Ohome Ken) is a parody of the gift card おこめ券 (Rice Ticket) that could be used for the purchase of rice.
