The Crenel Peak Cave is named after Crenel Peak, which itself is named for Mount Crenel from The Minish Cap.[3] The "Crenel" name is also used by Mount Crenel's Base and the Crenel Wall in The Minish Cap. In Tears of the Kingdom, the "Crenel" name is used by the Crenel Canyon Mine, the Crenel Hills, the Crenel Hills Cave, and Crenel Road.
