The D.I.C.E. Awards, formerly known as the Interactive Achievement Awards, are an annual video game award show.[1]

Overview

The D.I.C.E. Awards have been running since 1998.[1] Games from The Legend of Zelda series were first featured at the 1999 awards.[2]

D.I.C.E. Awards 1999

The 1999 D.I.C.E. Awards occurred on May 13, 1999 as part of the Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Variety Arts Theater in Los Angeles, California. Ocarina of Time received seven nominations and won six of them. It tied Half-Life for the most nominations.[2][3][4]

D.I.C.E. Awards 2001

The 2001 D.I.C.E. Awards occurred on March 22, 2001 in San Jose, California.[5] Majora's Mask was nominated in four categories and won two awards.[6][7]

D.I.C.E. Awards 2002

The 2002 D.I.C.E. Awards were hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 28, 2002. Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages received nominations in two separate categories.[8][9]

The 2003 D.I.C.E. Awards were hosted on February 27, 2003 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. A Link to the Past & Four Swords was nominated in a one category.[10][11]

The 2004 D.I.C.E. Awards occurred on March 4, 2004 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wind Waker received nine nominations, though it only won in a single category.[12][13]

The 2008 D.I.C.E. Awards occurred at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 8, 2008. Phantom Hourglass was nominated in two categories and won in one of them.[18][19]

D.I.C.E. Awards 2010

The 2010 D.I.C.E. Awards were hosted on February 18, 2012 at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. Spirit Tracks was nominated in a single category, which it did not win.[20][21]

D.I.C.E. Awards 2018

The 2018 D.I.C.E. Awards occurred in February 22, 2018 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Paradise, Nevada. Breath of the Wild was nominated in a total of six categories. It also won the most awards at the show.[26][27]
