The game includes all DLC content from both versions of the game for free.

The album includes 2 CDs, while the limited edition also includes a luxury box, a badge set, a CD stand, and a DVD with the videos projected behind the orchestra.

After graduating in 1988, Eiji Aonuma joined Nintendo, where he met Shigeru Miyamoto during his interview. For the development of Ocarina of Time, he was recruited by Miyamoto himself to work as director and designer of the game. Subsequently, Aonuma worked as director of Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess. Since then, he has worked as the producer of every game in The Legend of Zelda series.

On May 10, 2006, at an after-hours press conference during the , Link became one of the first confirmed fighters in the Wii installment of the franchise, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Unlike the previous games of the series, Link appears as depicted in the GameCube Twilight Princess, rather than Ocarina of Time. The Master Sword he has in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is much shorter than the one in Twilight Princess. Link's Final Smash move is known as the Triforce Slash.

On May 12, 2023, Tears of the Kingdom was released on the Nintendo Switch worldwide. Tears of the Kingdom was announced four years prior during E3 2019 and was stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic. For over 3 years, the title of the game was unknown and was merely called "Breath of the Wild 2" by the fanbase until the title and release date was revealed during the September 13, 2022 Nintendo Direct. After four years, the highly-anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild finally released on May 12, 2023.

On September 13, 2023, the title of Tears of the Kingdom was announced at the end of a Nintendo Direct. Tears of the Kingdom had been announced three years prior under the guise of "the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and had been called "Breath of the Wild 2" by the fanbase up until this point. Alongside the title, the release date of May 12, 2023 was also announced. The fanbase rejoiced as they finally had a name to call the new game after three long years.

On December 1, 1988, The Adventure of Link was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America. It is the second main installment of The Legend of Zelda series and the direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda. While retaining many of the features of its predecessor, The Adventure of Link altered certain elements of gameplay, most notably affecting movement and combat. Traveling across a world map would lead to enemy encounters which took place on a side-scrolling field of play rather than the top down perspective for which the series became known.

On December 11, 2006, Twilight Princess was released on the Nintendo GameCube in North America. It is the thirteenth main installment of The Legend of Zelda series, and was the last main installment of The Legend of Zelda to be released on the Nintendo GameCube. Twilight Princess was earlier released on the Wii on November 19, 2006, and a remake of Twilight Princess, Twilight Princess HD, was later released for the Wii U on March 4, 2016. A lesser known release of Twilight Princess was released on the NVIDIA Shield TV in China on December 5, 2017. Twilight Princess is the story of Hyrule after being invaded by Zant. Link, the new chosen hero, teamed up with the cursed Midna to save Hyrule and defeat Zant.
