Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
The Death Mountain Markers are a series of Signs located along the Mountain Road, having been placed there by the Gorons.[3] They provide information to their readers about Eldin Canyon and Death Mountain. For example, they share the heat level of the Scorching Climate.[4][5][6] Several of these Signs also direct their readers towards Goron City.[4][7][8]

Tears of the Kingdom
With Death Mountain going dormant and most of its lava solidifying,[9] Eldin has become much more accessible to Hylians. To reflect this, Death Mountain Markers no longer indicate heat levels, and some of them are even missing from the list: Marker #3 now advertises "Mine-Cart Land", and Markers #5 and #6 seem to no longer exist.
The remaining Death Mountain Marker are as follows:

Maw of Death Mountain | Death Mountain Marker #1 Climbing Path Trailhead |
