Death Mountain Summit
The Death Mountain Summit,(OoTOcarina of Time | BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1][2][3] also known as the Summit of Death Mountain,(TotKTears of the Kingdom)[4] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.
Features and Overview
Ocarina of Time
The Death Mountain Summit is the top of Death Mountain. Travelers are advised to stay away from the Summit due to how dangerous it is.[5] The Death Mountain Summit leads into the Death Mountain Crater and houses a Great Fairy's Fountain where Link can obtain the Spin Attack from the Great Fairy of Power.
In the Child Era, Link can speak to Kaepora Gaebora atop a Sign, who offers to bring him down the Mountain. If Link accepts, Kaepora Gaebora will drop him on the roof of Impa's House in Kakariko Village. In the Adult Era, Link can find Biggoron here. By showing Biggoron the Broken Goron's Sword, Link can receive the Prescription. Later, Link can deliver the prescribed World's Finest Eye Drops in exchange for a Claim Check. After waiting for three days, Link can exchange the Claim Check for Biggoron's Sword.
Minor Enemies
Breath of the Wild
Death Mountain Summit is the highest point of Death Mountain. Its location is marked by a Sign denoting it as one of Hyrule's one hundred famous mountains.[2] After Link has defeated Fireblight Ganon and activated Divine Beast Vah Rudania's Main Control Unit, Daruk operates Vah Rudania to climb up to the Summit and take aim at Hyrule Castle. From there on, the Summit becomes a new Travel point via Vah Rudania's icon on the Map. Link will not be able to approach Vah Rudania, however, due to it being too dangerous.
Bohrin states that the Gorons used to mine at the Summit, but were forced to relocate to the Southern Mine when Vah Rudania began launching Magma Bombs.[6]
