Location and Uses

Ocarina of Time

In Ocarina of Time, Deku Seeds are used as ammunition for the Fairy Slingshot.[4] They are held in the Bullet Bag, which can be upgraded to hold 40 and 50 Deku Seeds. They can be found when cutting grass.

Four Swords Adventures

In Four Swords Adventures, Deku Seeds are used as ammunition for the Slingshot; however, it has unlimited ammunition, as there are no Deku Seeds to be collected and no bag to hold them.

Twilight Princess

In Twilight Princess, Pumpkin Seeds can be used as ammunition for the Slingshot. Link receives 50 pellets when he first buys the Slingshot from Sera in Ordon Village, but must use Pumpkin Seeds as replacements once they are used up. They can be found by smashing Pumpkins or slaying Deku Babas and throwing their pods. A maximum of 50 ammunition can be held at a time.

Skyward Sword

In Skyward Sword, Deku Seeds are used as ammunition. They can be found by defeating Deku Babas, rolling into Trees or using the Digging Mitts in soft Soil. Link can also buy ten Deku Seeds for 20 Rupees at the Gear Shop.[5]
