Dobongos are Minibosses in Cadence of Hyrule.[1]

Characteristics

Dobongos are reptilian Minibosses that are fought in the Gerudo Arena and Arena Mode. They can also be found holding Items in Caves in the future. They move every two beats, patrolling five-tile-wide, five-tile-high squares. Periodically, a Dobongo will begin to inhale, preparing to shoot three yellow fireballs that move one tile per beat. If a Bomb is placed in front of its mouth while it is inhaling or shooting fireballs, the Dobongo will swallow it, taking three Hearts of damage.[2] Their fireballs can be launched to the front and sides, and they can be reflected with the Torch of Reflection. Unless the current hero has a Ring of Piercing, Dobongos' heads are the only part of them that can be damaged by normal Weapons.
