When Link plays the Flute near the Weathercock in the center of Kakariko Village, the bird will appear from inside the statue. Link can play the Flute again to have the bird fly him to one of eight different locations in the Light World.

Ducks are found in Ordon Village and in the Fishing Hole in Twilight Princess. They can either be found swimming in the pond or walking along the banks. As Wolf Link, Link can talk to them. One of the Ducks in the Fishing Hole tells him how to get the Sinking Lure.
Breath of the Wild
Bright-Chested Ducks appear in Breath of the Wild. These waterfowl can be found on the surface of ponds and rivers, often in flocks of three or more. If Link approaches them, they will fly away.
