"EX Treasure: Dark Armor" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1] It is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack.
Overview
This Side Quest is obtained upon leaving the Great Plateau and loading the overworld of Hyrule Kingdom, which can be done by Warping, reloading a save file, dying, or leaving an Ancient Shrine. When the Quest is activated, Link will be tasked with finding Misko's EX Journal 2, which is rumored to be in the Deya Village Ruins.[2][note 1]
Within Misko's EX Journal 2 are clues to the locations of six Treasure Chests, each containing a priceless relic stolen from Hyrule Castle by Misko.[3] The Journal states the Evil Spirit's Armor Set is hidden within the forests of Faron.[4] The locations outlined are the highest of the three Waterfalls north of Lake Floria, at the bridge that crosses Floria River between two small Waterfalls, and near the broken stone bird in Ebara Forest.[5]
The Phantom Ganon Skull can be found in a Treasure Chest submerged under the highest of three waterfalls flowing south from Corta Lake to Lake Floria. The Treasure Chest containing the Phantom Ganon Armor is submerged within Floria River underneath Sarjon Bridge. The Phantom Ganon Greaves are in a Treasure Chest buried next to a broken stone bird statue in Ebara Forest. Each Treasure Chest can be dislodged from the ground or retrieved from the water using the Magnesis Basic Rune, allowing Link to acquire the Armor within. The Side Quest is completed once all three pieces of the Phantom Ganon Set have been obtained.[6]
