"EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1] It is exclusive to The Master Trials Downloadable Content pack.
Overview
"EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes" is obtained upon leaving the Great Plateau and loading the overworld of Hyrule Kingdom, which can be done by Warping, reloading a save file, dying, or leaving an Ancient Shrine. When the Quest is activated, Link will be tasked with finding Misko's EX Journal, which is rumored to be in the Outpost Ruins.[2][note 1]
Inside Misko's EX Journal are clues to the locations of eight Hidden Chests, each containing a priceless relic stolen from Hyrule Castle by Misko.[3] The Journal states the green garments of the man who wished to be a fairy can be found at the ruins of a trading outpost, a prison and a village next to popular farmland.[4]
Tingle's Hood can be found in a Hidden Chest buried in the middle of the Exchange Ruins. The Hidden Chest containing Tingle's Shirt is buried near the ruins of the Castle Town Prison. Tingle's Tights are in a Hidden Chest buried under the remains of a Guardian Stalker in the southeast of the Mabe Village Ruins. Each Chest can be dislodged from the ground using the Magnesis Rune, allowing Link to retrieve the Armor within. "EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes" is completed once all three pieces of Tingle's Outfit have been obtained.[5]
