EX Vicious Monster Battles are temporary missions that appear around the map, as the Warriors gain access to more locations. Each one will have one to three vicious monsters in it. Vicious Monster Battles appear in Hyrule Field, Breach of Demise, Hyrule Outpost, Great Hyrule Forest, Crenel Peak, Kakariko Village, Goponga Village, Lanayru Road, Mount Daphnes and Forgotten Temple.

Possible Vicious Monsters include a Chuchu, Fire Chuchu, Ice Chuchu, Electric Chuchu, Meteo Wizzrobe, Blizzrobe, Thunder Wizzrobe, Stone Talus, Black Hinox, Silver Lynel, Battle-Tested Guardian, and pairs of Silver Moblins.

Interestingly, while Vicious Monster Challenges initially have varying levels based on when they were unlocked, when the Warriors beat the Battle-Tested Guardian in EX Alert: Forgotten Temple, all Vicious Monster Battles gain a level recommendation of 78.
