Elite Enemy Pictures are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Locations and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Elite Enemy Pictures are Pictures of high-difficulty Enemies that can be purchased from Symin at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab.[1][3] These Pictures have been left on the Lab's Guidance Stone, and they are able to unlock Hyrule Compendium entries if Link buys them.[4] A single Elite Enemy Picture costs 500 Rupees.[5] However, they do not become available until after Link defeats Dark Beast Ganon.

The number of Elite Enemy Pictures that Symin has in stock will match the number of Hyrule Compendium entries that Link is missing, with the maximum being 11. This increases to 14 when Master Mode is enabled and 15 during The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack. When Link purchases Elite Enemy Pictures, his Hyrule Compendium will be updated with a corresponding number of entries.[6] If Link overwrites an Elite Enemy Picture by taking a new Picture of the subject, he will be unable to restore it.[7]

List of Elite Enemy Pictures

The following is a list of all default Elite Enemy Pictures. The Golden Bokoblin, Golden Moblin, Golden Lizalfos, and Golden Lynel Elite Enemy Pictures are all exclusive to Master Mode. The Monk Maz Koshia Elite Enemy Picture is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack.
