Locations and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Enemy Pictures are Pictures of Enemies that have been stored on the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab's Guidance Stone.[1][3] Symin sells these Pictures to Link, allowing him to unlock their corresponding Hyrule Compendium entries.[4] A single Enemy Picture costs 100 Rupees.[5]
The amount of Enemy Pictures that Link can buy is the same as the amount of Enemy entries missing from his Hyrule Compendium. There are a total of 67 Enemy Pictures to collect, but this number increases to 70 with The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack and Master Mode. When Link buys Enemy Pictures, his Hyrule Compendium will be updated with a corresponding amount of entries.[6] If Link overwrites one of these Pictures in his Compendium, he will be unable to restore it.[7]
List of Enemy Pictures
The following is a list of all Enemy Pictures. The Sky Octorok Enemy Picture is exclusive to Master Mode, while the Igneo Talus Titan and Molduking Enemy Pictures are exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack.

As I was conducting my research, I found that there were still some pictures of the past left on the Guidance Stone! If you add those pictures to your Hyrule Compendium, you can search for their subjects with the Sheikah Sensor +.

It seems the Hyrule Compendium recovered a picture from the past! It appears the picture from the Guidance Stone was transferred to your Hyrule Compendium. You can't restore transferred pictures, so be careful of overwriting it.
