The Extreme Cold Snap,[1] also known as the Massive Cold Snap,[2] and the Big Cold Snap,[3] is an event in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

The Extreme Cold Snap affects Rito Village and some of the surrounding area, triggering a massive Blizzard to engulf the Hebra Region and threatening to starve the Rito. It was caused by the Upheaval.

Both the Extreme Cold Snap and the raging Blizzard are resolved once Link and Tulin slay Colgera within the Wind Temple.

I recommend that you take precautions against the cold. Hebra has always been a chilly region, but ever since their recent extreme cold snap, they don't even have enough to eat.
