"Feathered Fugitives" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
At Riverside Stable, Link can find Teli looking into the Cucco pen, panicking about how much trouble he is in.[2] If Link asks what is wrong with him, Teli initially fears that he has been caught, but he tells Link off after realizing his mistake.[3] He recognizes that Link was the one who saved him and his friends during the "Gourmets Gone Missing" Side Adventure, and as a result, he wonders if he is willing to help him again.[4] Teli reveals that he wanted to eat the Bird Eggs laid by the Stable's six Cuccos, but he accidentally scared away five of them.[5] Although they are still in the vicinity, they run away whenever Teli gets close to them.[6] He claims that he needs to return them before a Stable worker notices,[7] at which point "Feathered Fugitives" will begin.
Riverside Stable's Cuccos can be found at the following locations:
- The stage where the Stable Heroes perform.
- On top of a large Tree south of the Stable.
- On top of a piece of Ruins Rubble in the Hylia River.
- Inside the Stable.
- On top of the Stable's Horse head.
Once all of the Cuccos have been returned, Teli will be shocked to see them.[8] He is relieved that Link managed to retrieve them all, though he is embarrassed to have been saved by him yet again.[9] To ensure Link's silence on the matter, Teli gives him a Silver Rupee.[10][11] Afterwards, "Feathered Fugitives" will be completed.
