Niboshi is a character in Spirit Tracks.[1]

Biography

Niboshi sells fresh Toboni from a stall just outside the Shop in Papuchia Village. For just 50 Rupees, she will give Link 20 Toboni to place in the Freight Car of the Spirit Train. These can be taken to Lucia in Castle Town, who will reward him with Force Gem 12 for delivering at least 10 Fish.

After Link completes the Fire Temple, Niboshi will mention to him that due to rising temperatures, her stock of Fish is in danger of spoiling, and asks him to bring some Mega Ice from the Snow Realm to help keep them fresh.[2] If the young hero brings Niboshi at least 10 chunks of Mega Ice,[3] she will reward him with Force Gem 16, which reveals more Spirit Tracks in the Ocean Realm, opening the way to the Pirate Hideout north of the village.

It is not necessary to bring Mega Ice to Niboshi in order to buy Toboni from her, except if Link hears her request and explicitly agrees to fulfill it, in which case she will not offer to sell him any Toboni until he returns with the Mega Ice.[4]
