Fisherman's Shields are semi-rare Shields, similar to the Hunter's Shield. They are often carried by fishermen for their Fish design, which is said to represent hope for a great catch.[1] This is aided by their light wooden construction, which makes them easier to take onto a boat.[1]

There are five areas where a Fisherman's Shield can be found. Two are in Lurelin Village. One is near Tawa Jinn Shrine in the Rabella Wetlands. Another is in a Treasure Chest in an enemy camp north of Parache Plains. There is also in a Treasure Chest on a cliff near Brynna Plain on the shores of Lanayru Bay. Finally, Selmie gives one out as a reward for completing the Shield-Surfing between 2:45 and 3:00.[3]

Being made of wood, Fisherman's Shields will burn to a crisp if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. They will also float in Water, and they will not conduct Electricity or attract Lightning during Thunderstorms like metal Shields would. Finally, they cannot be picked up using the Magnesis Rune.
