The Fishpond in Front of the Village is a shallow pond on the island east of Rito Village that is stocked with Hearty Salmons, along with small, uncatchable Fish. The Water inside reaches up to Link's shoulders. During the "Recital at Warbler's Nest" Shrine Quest, Kotts can be found Fishing for Hearty Salmons in the Fishpond.[2] After all of her sisters are found, Kotts leaves the Fishpond to head to Warbler's Nest.[3]

As a result of the Blizzard, the Fishpond has been covered in a thin layer of Ice that breaks when Jumped on repeatedly. Its stock of Hearty Salmons have disappeared, though the tiny Fish still reside in the Fishpond. After the Blizzard ends, the Ice film over the Water disappears and Staminoka Basses populate it.
