Though the Flux Constructs can enter a standby mode, reducing energy consumption outside of battle, they remain one of our less energy-efficient creations. Considering their limitations, I would love to improve on their design and give them greater range, but my sister says the ancients' schematics for them are quite abstruse.

Description
A construct composed of interconnected blocks, made by the Zonai with advanced techniques and magic. It can rearrange the blocks to change its shape at will. To provide sufficient energy to power its gigantic form, this construct contains a massive store of Zonai charge.

Flux Constructs I are Constructs that are made of several cubes held together with a green Magic. These cubes can shift into several different forms, including a humanoid figure, a giant cube, and a flying form that can be Ascended through. Its weak point is a glowing green cube whose position varies based on its form, which can be pulled out of the Construct with Ultrahand to disassemble it and leave it vulnerable until it can rebuild itself. When defeated, Flux Constructs I drop Zonai Capsules, Zonai Charges, and Flux Construct I Cores.

A Flux Construct I appears in the Garden of Time on the Great Sky Island.

Other Appearances

Flux Constructs I can appear as both allied fighters and Powerful Enemies.

You can now perform a sync strike with a Flux Construct. Their powerful spin attacks can scatter minor foes, and chip away at the weak point gauges of powerful enemies.
You will be able to perform this in existing battles where Flux Constructs appear in addition to one of the new battles added in this update."
