For the Hero's Sake is an Object in Tears of the Kingdom.

Location and Uses

For the Hero's Sake is the 11th of the 13 Ancient Tablets, and it can be found on the northwestern Small Island in the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago. When Link steps onto the center of the Small Island, the Tablet will break away and fall through the Drenan Highlands Chasm, eventually landing in the Great Hyrule Forest Depths. Link cannot read the Tablet by himself, though he is able to show Wortsworth a Picture of it during the "Messages from an Ancient Era" Side Adventure to hear a translation.

For the Hero's Sake describes the preparations Zelda and Mineru made to help Link in the distant future, and by the chamberlain's suggestion, her writings were inscribed on the Ancient Tablets and sent to float in the Sky. This same process also sent the Temple of Time into the Sky to wait for Link. Wortsworth wonders what it was like for the chamberlain to live through such occurrences. As a reward for the Picture, Wortsworth gifts Link a Silver Rupee. After examining Pictures of all Ancient Tablets, Wortsworth will display a copy of his translation of For the Hero's Sake on the Zonai Survey Team Base's wall.
