Force Gem 20 is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1]

Location and Uses

Force Gem 20 is an optional Force Gem that can be obtained once Link discovers the Sand Wand inside the Sand Temple; completing the Sand Temple is not necessary. If Link returns to the Sand Sanctuary, he'll meet with Rael waiting near the rail platform. The Lokomo tells Link of his newfound interest in Cuccos, and his desire to study their herd behavior and find a way to harness their unique power for good.[2] In order to begin his studies, he asks Link to bring him at least five Cuccos to start.[3]

The Spirit Tracks created by Force Gem 20

Cuccos can be purchased from Castle Town at 50 Rupees for five birds; Link must not lose any aboard the Spirit Train as they need to be delivered in full.[4] For successfully delivering five Cuccos, Rael shows his thanks to Link by producing Force Gem 20.[5] For any subsequent deliveries, he rewards the young hero with a random Treasure worth 150 Rupees (for five Cuccos) or one worth 50 Rupees (fewer than five Cuccos).[6]

Force Gem 20 creates a new section of Spirit Tracks in the Fire Realm, which begins at the north end of the mountain where the Fire Temple resides, and travels east toward the northeast corner of the Realm, leading directly to the Ends of the Earth Station and passing by Mountain Rabbit 10 along the way. In addition, the newly delivered Cuccos at the Sand Sanctuary can be used by Link to glide toward a small island housing a Stamp Station.
