Force Gem 9
Force Gem 9 is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1]
Location and Uses
Force Gem 9 is an optional Force Gem that can be obtained after Link has delivered Mega Ice to Goron Village, dousing the Lava Geysers that blocked access to the village's homes. In the town of Whittleton, Lumber-seller Mash requires five beams of Goron Iron to forge a new blade for his axe, as it has become rusty and dull.[2][3][note 1] If Link purchases some Goron Iron from Goron Village and delivers it to Mash, the lumberjack will reward Link by producing Force Gem 9.[4]
Force Gem 9 creates a new section of Spirit Tracks primarily in the Forest Realm, forming a shortcut between the Forest Temple and the northwest tracks that link to the Snow Realm. They also branch north into another connection to the Snow Realm, which comes out directly at Warp Gate A.
If Link verbally agrees to bring the Goron Iron, which is not necessary in order to receive Force Gem 9, then he will be unable to buy any Lumber until the request is completed because Mash will be expecting the delivery of Iron.[5]
