Description
Koroks made this sword for Hylians. It's made of wood, so it isn't the best choice for head-on attacks. Its original intent was likely clearing vines to forge paths through forests.
Common Locations
Great Hyrule Forest
Hyrule Field
Properties
Atk 22

Forest Dweller's Swords were made by the Koroks for the Hylians to use.[1] They belong to the Korok Gear equipment archetype.[3] It is likely they were intended to clear paths through forests.[1] They are mostly commonly found in and around Hyrule Field and the Great Hyrule Forest.

"The Test of Wood" Shrine Quest requires Link to use a Forest Dweller's Sword, as well as a Forest Dweller's Shield and Forest Dweller's Bow, to fight his way to the Maag Halan Shrine.[4] The trial is failed and must be restarted if Link switches his Weapons or one of them breaks.[5]

As a wooden weapon, Forest Dweller's Swords are flammable and will burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. If dropped in Water, they will float. They also will not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms, nor can they conduct Electricity. They also are unable to be picked up with the Magnesis Rune.
