Fried Wild Greens are recurring Meals in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Fried Wild Greens are made by Cooking at least one herb, Flower, or Vegetable in a Cooking Pot. The regular version can be made by using Hyrule Herbs. Eating one will heal some Hearts to Link's Life Gauge. These dishes are known to be basic, their recipe being to sauté fresh wild plants.[1]
Based on the ingredients used, several different variations of Fried Wild Greens can be made:
- Hearty Fried Wild Greens:[3] Made using Hearty Radishes or Big Hearty Radishes. When eaten, they will heal all of Link's Hearts and temporarily increase his maximum number of Hearts.[3]
- Enduring Fried Wild Greens:[4] Made using Endura Carrots. If these Greens are consumed, they will completely refill and overfill Link's Stamina Wheel.[4]
- Hasty Fried Wild Greens:[5] Made using Swift Carrots or Swift Violets. Eating them will increase Link's movement speed temporarily.[5]
- Spicy Fried Wild Greens:[6] Made using Warm Safflinas. When eaten, Link will gain one level of Cold Resistance.[6]
- Electro Fried Wild Greens:[7] Made using Electric Safflinas. Link will be granted one level of Shock Resistance when one of these is eaten.[7]
- Mighty Fried Wild Greens:[8] Made using Mighty Thistles. Eating one will temporarily increase Link's attack power.[8]
- Tough Fried Wild Greens:[9] Made using Armoranths or Fortified Pumpkins. They temporarily increase Link's defense when consumed.[9]
- Sneaky Fried Wild Greens:[10] Made using Blue Nightshades or Silent Princesses. When eaten, they will increase Link's Stealth for a short period of time.[10]
- Chilly Fried Wild Greens:[11] Made using Cool Safflinas. If they are eaten, they will increase Link's Heat Resistance.[11]
Tears of the Kingdom
Fried Wild Greens return in Tears of the Kingdom. With the addition of Stambulbs, it is now possible to make Energizing Fried Wild Greens, which was impossible in Breath of the Wild. Two new variations of Fried Wild Greens can also be made.
