Frost Pebblits are juvenile Frost Taluses.[5] They are mainly found in snowy areas, such as the Hebra Mountains and Gerudo Highlands. Due to their young age, Frost Pebblits' bodies are light and fragile, leaving them vulnerable to Remote Bomb blasts.[5] As they mature, Frost Pebblits will toughen up, eventually becoming entirely composed of Ice.[5]
Due to their coloring, Frost Pebblits often blend in with their surroundings, being somewhat difficult to spot until they become active. Their primary attack is moving toward Link and attempting to swipe at him with one arm. Coming into contact with one will cause Link to become frozen for a short period of time. This can be avoided by throwing Remote Bombs from a distance or melting the Frost Pebblit's icy coating with a heat-based Weapon, such as Fire Arrows or Flameblades. Alternatively, wearing the entire Snowquill Set will grant Link the Unfreezable Set Bonus, so long as has been enhanced twice by a Great Fairy. This allows the Pebblit to be picked up and thrown in order to defeat it. Frost Pebblits will explode when they are thrown or if Link holds them for too long.

A very young Frost Talus. Their bodies toughen and frost over as they mature, becoming entirely made of ice by adulthood. As a child, however, their bodies are awfully fragile and are light enough to be blown away by a bomb's blast.
