Frozen Carp
Frozen Carps are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Frozen Carps are a type of Frozen Food, and they can be made by exposing Mighty Carps, Armored Carps, or Sanke Carps to Freezing Climates or Cold Water.[3] Their icy texture makes them a delicacy.[1] Eating one will restore one Heart to Link's Life Gauge and grant him temporary Heat Resistance.[1]
Tears of the Kingdom
Frozen Carps reappear in Tears of the Kingdom and are again a variety of Frozen Food. Link can make them by exposing Mighty Carps, Armored Carps, or Sanke Carps to a Freezing Climate or Cold Water. Due to their icy texture, they are considered to be a delicacy.[2] When Link eats a Frozen Carp, one Heart will be healed to his Life Gauge, and he will receive one level of temporary Heat Resistance.[2]
