Breath of the Wild

Fruits are a type of Material that can be found throughout Hyrule Kingdom. Acorns and Chickaloo Tree Nuts do not count as Fruits when Cooking. All Fruits turn into Roasted Food when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.

Several Foods require Fruits as Ingredients in their Recipes. Apple Pie, Fried Bananas, Honeyed Apple, Hot Buttered Apple, Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin, Pepper Seafood, Pepper Steak, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Stew, Spicy Sautéed Peppers, and the Wildberry Crepe all require a specific Fruit. Recipes that can use any Fruit are the Fruit and Mushroom Mix, Honeyed Fruits, Simmered Fruit, Copious Simmered Fruit, and Steamed Fruit. Uniquely, Fruit Pie requires any Fruit that is not an Apple, and Fruitcake requires either an Apple or a Wildberry in addition to another Fruit. Nutcake and Sautéed Nuts also specifically require an Acorn or a Chickaloo Tree Nut.
