Fuzo is a character in Phantom Hourglass.[2]

Biography

Fuzo is the apprentice of Eddo.[3] He can be found on Cannon Island at Eddo's Garage. He awards Link prizes for Battle Mode accomplishments. For every four Big Plays earned in Battle Mode, Fuzo will reward Link with a Gold Ship Part. Since only 16 Big Plays are possible, the maximum number of rewards is four. While Link is searching for Eddo, Fuzo tells him that he needs to go around the Island's bomb garden to get to him.

Non-Canon Appearances

Phantom Hourglass Manga

In the Phantom Hourglass manga by Akira Himekawa, Link first meets Fuzo when he lands on Cannon Island and asks if any cannons are available for purchase.[4] Fuzo introduces himself as Eddo's apprentice and explains that Eddo is currently using them all to construct a new cannon.[5] Link requests that Fuzo asks Eddo for one of the cannons,[6] but Fuzo suggests that Link should do it himself, as Eddo can be difficult to persuade.[7] Fuzo then attempts to open the door to Eddo's work space, only to find that it is locked.[8] Fuzo explains that Eddo sometimes stays in the room for extended periods of time.[9] Link and Ciela suggests that he should shout or bang on the door,[10] but Fuzo refuses and says that Eddo is frightening when his work is interrupted.[11] Fuzo tells Link to try the back door,[12] causing Link to hurry away. Fuzo, now alone, says that he was going to warn him about the Beehive that is there and remarks about how impatient Link is.[13] Fuzo appears again later, trapped under debris after Link shouts loud enough to destroy the building and convince Eddo to give him a free cannon.[14]

Sorry, little guy, but we don't have any ready to sell. Not yet. Master's working on one though, so he's withdrawn to his workroom. Yup! He's gone and locked himself in there until he's done concentrating! If you really, really, really want a cannon, then go speak with the master. You can go around the island to reach the back door. Dangerous, though! The back door's never locked, so that's your ticket to meet the master! I'll be happy to open the gate that leads to the rest of the island... Follow me!" — Fuzo (Phantom Hourglass)
