Gale
Gale is a character in The Minish Cap.[1]
Biography
Gale is a member of the Wind Tribe. She appears alongside her sister Hailey during the Picori Festival. Later, they try to return to their Home in the Cloud Tops, though they find themselves trapped.[2] After Link locates five gold Kinstone Pieces scattered across the Cloud Tops and Fuses them with five corresponding Mysterious Clouds, a Tornado appears, allowing Gale and Hailey to return to the Home of the Wind Tribe. From this point on, Gale can be found on the bottom floor of the Home of the Wind Tribe, and will advise Link to seek out Siroc to continue his journey.[3]
Link can Fuse Kinstone Pieces with Gale,[4] causing a waterfall to open at Veil Falls that contains a Piece of Heart.

Nomenclature
Much like the other members of the Wind Tribe, Gale's name directly relates to the weather. In this case a gale is a strong wind. As a name, Gale is a known variation of the name Gail.[5]
