Gerudo Village is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(FSAFour Swords Adventures | CoHCadence of Hyrule)[1][2]

Features and Overview

Four Swords Adventures

The Gerudo Village is found as part of the first Stage in the Desert of Doubt. It consists of five circular houses in a large clearing of Palm Trees. Following Ganondorf's betrayal, a Gerudo guards the northern path leading into the Desert of Doubt.[3] However, the Gerudo Leader allows the Links to pass due to the crisis affecting all of Hyrule.[3] If the Links become lost in the Desert's sandstorms, they will end up back in the Gerudo Village.[4]

Other Appearances

Cadence of Hyrule

The following section is not part of the Zelda canon and should not be taken as such.

Gerudo Village is seen in both present-day Hyrule and Future World Hyrule. Barriara is the leader of the Village due to the prince, Ganondorf, not being mature enough.[5] There is a place to play Bombchu Bowling, though it no longer exists in the future. Instead, the Village boasts the Gerudo Arena.

The exact layout of the Village is not always the same, and is not entirely consistent between the present-day and the future. The way the colored notes are arranged will change (thought the order they must be played will not), and the access points to the Village will either be along the top or bottom. Depending on whether the additional access points are to the North or South, the location of the Gerudo Desert will change accordingly.

But his intent is unknown to me. He has flouted the law and fled for the pyramid. To reach the pyramid, one must first pass the trial of the Desert Temple. The villain Ganondorf will no doubt draw his last breath failing this trial. We've blocked the road to the desert to keep other fools from coming. But considering the crisis in Hyrule, we've no reason to stop you brave lads. Go to the entrance of the village and speak to the guards at the gate. — Gerudo Leader (Four Swords Adventures)
