Glowing Cave Fish

Glowing Cave Fish are bioluminescent, purple-colored Fish that can be found in pools of Water in Caves, the Depths, and Wells throughout Hyrule.[1] Their fins and the spots on their scales on them glow lavender. The enzymes they produce can be used to Cook bright Foods, which cause Link to Glow.[1] When exposed to Fires or Scorching Climates, they become Roasted Cave Fish, whereas Glowing Cave Fish exposed to Ice become Frozen Cave Fish. They restore one Heart to Link's Life Gauge when eaten.

When edible or Roasted Mushrooms are dropped in Water containing Cave Fish, any nearby Cave Fish will swim over to them.[2] When exposed to Electricity, they die, rolling over onto their sides and floating to the Water's surface. Deceased Glowing Cave Fish can be manipulated using Ultrahand and Recall, though their bodies can only be Recalled to a point they were present at after their death. They cannot be Fused to Weapons, Shields, or Arrows.
