The Golden Engine is an Item in Spirit Tracks.[1]

Location and Uses

The Golden Engine is a Train Car that can be purchased from Linebeck Trading Company at a cost of two Pearl Necklaces, one Ruto Crown and one Goron Amber. It features a stately design with a solid gold body, and its description reads "Even the smoke on this spectacular wonder seems to have some gold in it."

Outfitting the Spirit Train with the Golden Engine increases its durability to five Hearts. When used alongside the three other Train Cars in the Golden Train set, the Spirit Train's durability is increased to eight Hearts; more than is possible with any other combination of Train Cars. Using the Golden Engine also changes the Train Whistle to a hollow, metallic sound with a faint twinkling effect.
