The Goron Game is a racing Mini-Game that can be played in Phantom Hourglass.[name references needed]

Location and Rules

The Goron Game takes place on Dee Ess Island, and becomes available only after Link clears the Temple of Ice and has received Gongoron's letter from the Postman. If Link arrives to Dee Ess Island and speaks with the game's operator prior to clearing the Temple of Ice, the operator will inform him that the preparations are not yet complete, as he has yet to find a part-time employee, and thus, the mini-game is closed. However, some time after Link has cleared the Temple of Ice, he will receive a letter from Gongoron, informing him that he had left Goron Island and went to work as part-time employee in Dee Ess Island.

The Goron Game costs 50 Rupees to play. Link is partnered with Gongoron during the mini-game. The object of the game is to direct Gongoron through the island, breaking floating crystals along the way, in a set amount of time. Successfully clearing the game rewards Link with various prizes; the value of which is determined by how quickly Link and Gongoron clear the game. Common prizes include various Treasures, Ship Parts, or Rupees. The best prize available, a Bombchu Bag, is rewarded after beating the record of 35 seconds.
