Goron Spices are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Goron Spice can be purchased from the Goron Gusto Shop in Goron City. Alternatively, it's sold by the travelling merchant Yammo near the Tabantha Great Bridge. It is made of several different spices, and the initial wave of spiciness turns into sweetness.[1] While it can't be eaten, it can be used to make certain Foods at a Cooking Pot. At the Kochi Dye Shop, Goron Spice is one of the ingredients that can be used to make Red Dye.

As part of the "Curry for What Ails You" Side Quest, Link must give a bottle of Goron Spice to Lester at the Rito Stable so he can make Curry Rice.[4][5] Upon obtaining Goron Spice, Lester will ask Link to trade it for 50 Rupees.[6] Afterwards, Link can trade Goron Spice with him at any time for Hylian Rice.[7]

While Cooking, Goron Spice is required to make Crab Stir-Fry, Curry Pilaf, Curry Rice, Fragrant Mushroom Sauté, Gourmet Meat Curry, Gourmet Poultry Curry, a Gourmet Spiced Meat Skewer, Herb Sauté, Meat Curry, Monster Curry, Poultry Curry, Prime Meat Curry, Prime Poultry Curry, a Prime Spiced Meat Skewer, Seafood Curry, a Spiced Meat Skewer, and Vegetable Curry.
