Goron Stone Memorial
The Goron Stone Memorial is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] The Goron Stone Memorial goes unnamed in Tears of the Kingdom.
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
The Goron Stone Memorial is a Statue overlooking Goron City. It depicts four Gorons: Daruk at the top, Darmani III carrying the Elder's Son, and Gor Coron. Originally, it only depicted the latter three, but Daruk was added in memoriam of his sacrifice during the Great Calamity.[1]
When Link returns to the Boss's House after rescuing Yunobo, Bludo mentions that, while he means no disrespect to Daruk's legacy, he is eager to send Divine Beast Vah Rudania away from Goron City.[2] Link expresses confusion over who Daruk is,[3] which causes Bludo to tell him to look up at the Goron Stone Memorial.[4] Seeing the Statue causes Link to remember the "Daruk's Mettle" Recovered Memory.
