Description
This breed of honeyvore bear is distinguished by its gray fur. Even more ferocious than their relatives, they're commonly believed to be the most dangerous wild animal. They live in deep snow away from villages, so it's uncommon to encounter one. That said, if you do find one, you'd be better off not picking a fight with it.

Grizzlemaw Bears are a rare and strong type of Bear. They are a breed of Honeyvore Bear, though they are physically distinguished by their darker fur and gray muzzles.[3] They are highly aggressive and territorial animals, and as a result, they are considered to the most dangerous wild animals native to Hyrule during the Era of the Wilds.[3] Most commonly, Grizzlemaw Bears live in Freezing Climates away from civilization, such as the Hebra Mountains and Gerudo Highlands.[3] If a Grizzlemaw Bear spots Link, it will attack him.[4] When killed, Grizzlemaw Bears drop Raw Prime Meats, Raw Gourmet Meats, and Hearty Salmons.

Grizzlemaw Bears are one of a few Creatures that can be ridden and tamed by Link. However, if he takes it to a Stable, the owner will refuse to register it, since it is not a Horse.[5]
