Guardian Spears+ are Weapons use by Guardian Scouts III inside "A Moderate Test of Strength" Ancient Shrines. The Breath of the Wild Series Guardian amiibo has a chance to drop a Treasure Chest containing a Guardian Spear+ when it is scanned with the amiibo Rune. They are Guardian Spears that have had their tips enlarged and strengthened.[1] They are noted to be shorter than the average spear, which is theorized to be for use in tight spaces.[1]

Being made from Ancient Technology, Guardian Spears+ will deal extra damage when they are used against Guardians. They will not conduct Electricity or attract Lightning during Thunderstorms, nor can they be picked up with the Magnesis Rune. However, they can float on Water, and they will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.

Guardian Spears+ belong to the Guardian Gear equipment archetype, which is a collection of Weapons that are wielded by Guardian Scouts.[3]
