Hateno Cheese
Hateno Cheeses are Items in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Location and Uses
Hateno Cheese is a dairy product produced from the Milk of Hateno Cows in the Hateno Pasture.[1] Koyin begins producing the Cheese after Link recovers a letter from Lake Sumac in the Side Adventure "A Letter to Koyin". The letter was left by Koyin's great-grandfather and contains a recipe for Cheese developed by him and Reede's grandfather.[citation needed] Once Koyin has begun production, she begins selling Hateno Cheese at the Pasture and allows Link to trade Milk for Hateno Cheese.[citation needed] Merchants and General Stores across Hyrule also begin to stock Hateno Cheese. Hateno Cheese becomes the new "signature dish" of Hateno Village and is the solution to the Side Adventure "A New Signature Food".
Hateno Cheese has the price of 20 Rupees, and is called a delicacy by numerous travelers and vendors. This high price is consistent, but the cheese produces multiple new recipes. There are no special healing effects besides heart recovery.
Trivia
- Hateno Cheese closely resembles Swiss Cheese.
